Role Overview

Career Counsellor (Sales)

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with potential students via calls, emails, and counselling sessions to understand their educational goals and recommend suitable programs.
• Convert inquiries into enrolments by clearly communicating program benefits, fee structures, and career outcomes.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of partner universities, eligibility criteria, and course offerings.
• Follow up on leads systematically and meet monthly conversion and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and conversions in CRM tools.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to improve student experience and feedback loops.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business, Education, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of experience

  in education counselling, admissions, or inside sales (EdTech background preferred).
• Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with tools like CRM software, Excel, and basic reporting.
• Empathetic listener with the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
• Goal-driven mindset and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
