Admission Counsellor (Part-time)

SPJIMR's Post Graduate Executive Management Programme (PGEMP) is a 21-month modular programme that enables middle and senior management executives to transition into leadership roles. It helps high-potential professionals with more than five years of work experience pursue formal management education without taking a career break. PGEMP is recognised for addressing the industry need to develop managerial competencies and create a robust leadership pipeline for the organisation. It is accredited by the AMBA (Association of MBAs) in the United Kingdom, reflecting the highest level of success in postgraduate business education.

The role involves lead generation, handling enquiries, cold calling, counselling prospects and conversion for PGEMP, PGPMBM and other programmes (as applicable) managed by the department.

The key responsibilities include:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective candidates and working professionals interested in our programmes.
• Explain course details, eligibility, and admission procedures effectively.
• Counsel students on programme suitability based on their academic and professional background.
• Follow up on leads via calls, emails, WhatsApp or other platforms to ensure timely conversions.
• Maintain detailed records of all interactions on CRM systems.
• Generate reports to analyse effectiveness of marketing campaigns for improving marketing outcomes
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging and update lead status.

Any other tasks as directed by the reporting manager /Chairperson of the programme

Note: this is a 6 Months contract (extension/ internal movement possible but depends on candidate's performance)
