Admission Counsellor

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow is inviting applications for Admission Counsellor.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Counseling & Guidance

• Provide accurate information about courses, programs, eligibility, admission procedures, and career prospects.
  
• Counsel students (and parents, where relevant) on academic opportunities, institute culture, and future pathways.
  
• Assist students in making informed decisions about their education.
  

• Admissions Process

• Manage the complete admission cycle from inquiry to enrollment.
  
• Guide applicants on form-filling, documentation, interviews, and fee payment.
  
• Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students and ensure timely conversions.
  

• Outreach & Promotion

• Participate in educational fairs, school/college visits, seminars, and webinars.
  
• Represent the institution professionally to external stakeholders.
  
• Support marketing initiatives and campaigns to attract quality applicants.
  

• Database & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, and admissions using CRM or ERP systems.
  
• Prepare periodic reports on admission progress, conversion ratios, and follow-up activities.
  
• Share insights and feedback to improve admission strategies.
  

• Relationship Management

• Build strong rapport with prospective students, parents, schools, and other partners.
  
• Handle queries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (preferably in Education, Marketing, or Counseling).
  
• 25 years of experience in student counseling, admissions, or a similar role.
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  
• Strong sales and persuasion skills with the ability to meet admission targets.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
