Job Title: Admission Counsellor School: Edify School Location: Chikkabanavara, Bangalore Working Days: Monday to Saturday Job Type: Full-time School Type: Day Boarding Joining: Immediate About the Role: Edify School, Chikkabanavara is looking for a dynamic and approachable Admission Counsellor to join our team. This role is crucial in guiding prospective parents through the admission process, building relationships, and effectively communicating the school’s values and offerings. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys interacting with people, is detail-oriented, and can represent the school with professionalism and warmth. Key Responsibilities: Handle all admission-related inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins. Counsel prospective parents on curriculum, facilities, fee structure, transport, and other school policies. Conduct school tours and ensure a welcoming experience for all visitors. Maintain accurate records of inquiries, leads, follow-ups, and admissions. Coordinate with the academic team and office staff to ensure smooth onboarding of new students. Participate in admission drives, school promotional activities, and events as needed. Prepare admission reports and assist in planning enrollment targets. Follow up with interested families and ensure timely communication. Build strong rapport with parents and act as a point of contact for admission-related queries. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any field; specialization in communication, marketing, or education is a plus. Prior experience as an admission counsellor or in a similar customer-facing role preferred. Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in Kannada and/or Hindi is a strong advantage. Friendly, confident, and persuasive personality with strong interpersonal skills. Well-organized with good follow-up habits and attention to detail. Familiarity with school operations or CRM software is a plus. Immediate joiners preferred.
