Job Title: Gardener School: Edify School Location: Chikkabanavara, Bangalore Working Days: Monday to Saturday Job Type: Full-time School Type: Day Boarding Joining: Immediate About the Role: Edify School, Chikkabanavara is looking for a dedicated and experienced Gardener to maintain and beautify the school campus. The ideal candidate will ensure the upkeep of all green areas, including gardens, lawns, and potted plants, contributing to a clean, safe, and green environment for students and staff. Key Responsibilities: Maintain school gardens, lawns, and landscaping areas. Plant, water, prune, and fertilize flowers, shrubs, and trees as required. Keep outdoor areas clean and free of weeds, debris, and litter. Operate gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor plant health and treat for pests or disease if needed. Maintain potted plants in classrooms, administrative areas, and corridors. Coordinate with the administrative team for seasonal planting and beautification plans. Ensure safe storage and handling of gardening tools and materials. Follow safety and cleanliness protocols in all gardening tasks. Requirements: Prior experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture (preferably in school or institutional setups). Basic knowledge of plant care, soil types, fertilizers, and pest control. Physical fitness to perform outdoor, labor-intensive work. Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of local plant species and seasonal gardening practices is an advantage. Ability to follow instructions and maintain a neat and organized garden space. Immediate joiners preferred.
