Position Summary:

We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Social Science Teacher to handle High School classes (Grades 8 to 10 – CBSE). The ideal candidate should be able to bring history, geography, civics, and economics alive in the classroom through engaging teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) for Classes 5 to 8 as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Design and deliver lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, discussion, and real-world connections.
• Organize classroom activities, projects, and assessments to deepen understanding.
• Guide students in research, presentations, and interdisciplinary projects.
• Provide additional academic support and remedial sessions as needed.
• Participate in school events, field trips, and co-curricular activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related field along with a B.Ed. (mandatory).
• 2–4 years of teaching experience at the middle school level (CBSE preferred).
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic approach to teaching and student engagement, both inside and outside the classroom.
