Admission Counsellor

Job Summary:

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students and their parents through the admission process. The role involves counselling students on academic programs, assisting with application procedures, following up on leads, and ensuring successful enrolment in the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding course offerings, eligibility, career prospects, and admission procedures.
• Handle inquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, emails, and online platforms.
• Maintain a database of leads and follow up regularly to achieve admission targets.
• Conduct campus tours, information sessions, and open-house events.
• Coordinate with academic and marketing teams for promotional activities and admission campaigns.
• Guide students through application, documentation, and fee submission processes.
• Ensure timely communication and support to applicants throughout the admission cycle.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual admission targets.
• Maintain confidentiality of student data and uphold institutional values.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in counselling, sales, or education sector (freshers with good communication skills may also apply).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Strong persuasion, presentation, and follow-up abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Positive attitude, patience, and student-centric approach.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Number of inquiries converted to admissions.
• Lead response time and follow-up effectiveness.
• Student satisfaction feedback.
• Achievement of monthly/quarterly admission targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Office management: 2 years (Required)
