Role of an Admission Counselor in a School 1. Lead Generation & Inquiry Handling Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online inquiries efficiently. Maintain inquiry databases and ensure timely follow-up. Convert leads into confirmed admissions through effective communication and counseling. Participate in school outreach and promotional activities to attract prospective parents/students. 2. Counseling & Communication Counsel parents and students regarding school curriculum, facilities, teaching methodologies, and admission procedures. Build a positive rapport with prospective parents, addressing queries with patience and professionalism. Ensure every visitor has a pleasant and informative experience that reflects the schools ethos. 3. Admission Process Coordination Guide parents through the complete admission process – application, interaction, fee submission, and documentation. Coordinate with the academic and admin teams for entrance assessments, interviews, and admission formalities. Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in handling student data and documents. 4. Data Management & Reporting Maintain updated admission registers, inquiry-to-admission conversion records, and daily follow-up trackers. Prepare weekly/monthly reports on lead status and conversions for management review. 5. Collaboration & Support Work closely with the Marketing, Front Office, and Accounts teams to ensure a smooth admission experience. Support school events, orientation programs, and parent interactions as part of the admission and branding process. 6.
