Job Description

The Facilities Manager will lead a team to manage the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property/facility and be the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and/or clients. You will assume overall responsibility for site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, occupancy services, and helpdesk. Additionally, you will oversee all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues. Your role will involve compiling and preparing reports for upper management's review and use. You will play a crucial role in instilling a culture in the team that values the Customer. Managing and coaching the team, developing and sustaining a high-quality, well-motivated team will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Ensuring high staff morale, trust, and work ethics, building and maintaining an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, and performance excellence within the team, as well as mentoring and enabling Training & Development of team members will be essential to your success. Proactively engaging stakeholders to ensure that on-site clients" expectations are met and building effective client/stakeholder relationships across various levels of the organization will be part of your daily tasks. You will also be responsible for managing vendors to ensure services are delivered on time and within budget, planning and managing all contracts professionally, and monitoring the sites financial operations to meet or exceed targets and control requirements. Additionally, you will recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry Best Practice operations. Implementing building procedures and performance measures, ensuring all Critical Environment (CEM) requirements are met, and overseeing a property risk management program, including audits, will be part of your role. Daily administrative tasks, compliance with regulations, procedures, and guidelines, and living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity are also essential responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering background and a minimum of 7 to 8 years of experience. Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Kannada, and Hindi languages is required. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing daily administrative tasks, regular inspections, maintenance of the facility to meet health and safety standards, organizing company events, meetings, and other administrative projects, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of building systems, and monitoring security policies, protocols, and procedures. You will also oversee transportation operations and assist in route planning, vehicle maintenance, and driver management. Please note that this is a one-year contractual role.,
