Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Scheduling and coordination: Manage calendars, schedule meetings and appointments, and make travel arrangements.
  • Communication: Handle official correspondence, such as emails and mail, and redirect phone calls and queries to the appropriate employees.
  • Record and file management: Organize and maintain files, documents, and databases.
  • Administrative support: Draft reports and presentations, and assist with basic bookkeeping and invoicing.
  • Office support: Greet visitors, manage office supplies, and ensure office equipment is in working order.

Skills and qualifications

  • Organizational and multitasking skills: The ability to manage numerous tasks at once is essential.
  • Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for handling correspondence and interacting with others.
  • Computer proficiency: Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and database management is often required.
  • Discretion and professionalism: Many roles require handling confidential information and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Education: While not always required, an associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field can be beneficial and is preferred by many employers.
