Activity Coordinator

Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative, compassionate, and energetic Activity Coordinator to plan, organize, and implement a wide variety of recreational and therapeutic activities for our elderly residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and the ability to tailor activities to suit varying levels of physical and cognitive ability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a monthly activity calendar tailored to residents’ needs and interests.
• Organize social, recreational, educational, and wellness-based activities (e.g., arts and crafts, music, games, group exercises, outings).
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities for individuals with varying physical or cognitive limitations.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and care staff to ensure activities align with resident care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and program effectiveness.
• Coordinate with local community groups, entertainers, and volunteers to enhance the activity program.
• Ensure the safety of residents during all activities and outings.
• Collect feedback from residents and families to continually improve programming.
• Participate in care team meetings and contribute to the development of holistic care strategies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in recreational therapy, activities coordination, or a similar role (preferably in eldercare or healthcare setting).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and creativity.
• Ability to motivate and engage elderly individuals.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).
• Certification in recreational therapy or activity coordination is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
