Active Safety

As an Active Safety System TML in the Chassis Engineering department (TMPV) at Tata Motors, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Domain Expertise in chassis active safety system components like ABS, ESP, One Box, and their software development and implementation - Sound knowledge of basic vehicle-level electronics components and in-vehicle communication between different ECUs - Good interpersonal skills to discuss and finalize system requirements internally and with suppliers - Basic driving skills for performing basic vehicle-level checks and capturing data for analysis - Strong analytics and problem resolution skills to independently resolve software-related issues with supplier support - Basic know-how for Automotive diagnosis implementation (UDS) - Sound knowledge of vehicle CAN communication, CAN signal requirements, and CAN tools like Canalyser, CANoe - Ability to develop DVP and functional test cases for new functions and their validation In terms of software competency, you should be able to: - Write basic codes with C, C++, software, Matlab - Have basic CAD know-how to read and understand component drawings - Be proficient with Microsoft Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, Excel For development competency, you should: - Interact with various Design agencies like Engine, Transmission, Electronics & Supplier to finalize system requirements, test cases, DVP - Deliver critical tasks in a limited timeframe with correct use of required productivity tools - Conduct HARA analysis, 8D analysis for failures - Have an interest in learning new technologies and implementing new logics to improve system capabilities Your managerial competency should include: - Being a good team player - Willingness to learn and implement new technologies with self-initiative - Excellent interpersonal skills with people management skills - Ability to make independent decisions to ensure project deliveries are unaffected Tata Motors Leadership Competencies that you should embody are: - Customer Centricity - Anticipating, understanding, and focusing efforts on meeting customer (stakeholders) needs or expectations - Developing Self and Others - Recognizing continuous development is essential for success and taking steps to develop self and helping others to excel - Driving Execution - Translating strategy into action and execution - Leading by Example - Encouraging and following ethical standards - Leading Change - Recognizing the need for change, initiating and adapting to change - Motivating Self and Others - Inspiring teams and individuals Your qualifications for this role should include a BE in Mechanical/Automobile/Electronics with 5-7 years of experience.,
