Active Directory Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Active Directory Management: Perform daily administration tasks, including managing user accounts, security groups, Organizational Units (OUs), and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

GPO Implementation: Design, test, and implement Group Policy Objects to enforce security and configuration standards across the domain.

Core Services: Manage and troubleshoot core Windows infrastructure services, including DNS, DHCP, and DFS.

Hybrid Identity: Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID and managing synchronization using Azure AD Connect is highly desirable.

Security & Health: Monitor the health, replication, and security of Domain Controllers (DCs). Ensure FSMO roles are secure and functioning correctly.

Automation: Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate routine AD administration, reporting, and cleanup tasks.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex authentication, logon, and group policy application issues.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 3 to 4 years of dedicated experience in Active Directory and Windows Server administration.

Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA from a recognized institution.

Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AD concepts (forests, domains, trusts, sites, replication) and extensive experience with Group Policy Management.

Certifications: MTA or comparable Microsoft/Cloud certification is an asset.

Skills: Proven proficiency in PowerShell for AD administration and strong analytical skills for troubleshooting.
