Accounts Receivable and Accounting Assistant

Key Responsibilities: - Process and track returns and declined transactions, notifying customers and internal teams as needed. - Conduct regular account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records. - Monitor incoming tickets and assign them to the appropriate team member for resolution. - Assist account managers with administrative support and customer account management. - Maintain detailed documentation of all account activity and communications. - Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; will consider candidates with five (5) years of experience in accounting and/or accounts receivable in lieu of a degree. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis). - Familiarity with accounting or ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar). - Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Customer-focused mindset with proven problem-solving abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
