Accounts Intern

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to support our finance team in day-to-day accounting tasks. The intern will gain practical experience in accounting operations, financial documentation, and compliance processes while assisting in maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and data entry in accounting software.
• Support in preparation of invoices, bills, and expense vouchers.
• Help reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.
• Maintain and organize accounting documents and records.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting data and payment follow-ups.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation when required.
• Perform any other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by the finance team.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
