Accounts Executive

As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for reconciling bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies - Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions - Performing month-end and year-end closing activities - Preparing and submitting tax returns and other statutory filings - Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information - Working closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information - Communicating effectively with team members and management - Assisting in the closure of reconciling items by understanding the root cause and liaising with other functions of finance for timely resolution - Assisting in driving process improvements and standardization activities - Managing export documentation, including preparation of commercial invoices, packing lists, and other relevant documents - Coordinating with clients to obtain necessary information for document preparation - Maintaining accurate records of exports using Tally ERP software Key Skills required for this role include a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential.
