• Position: Accounting Specialist (India Operation)

• Department: Finance

• Location: Pune

• Note: Immediate Joiner required

Job Profile:

• Supports all aspects of Indian according including Tax deducted at Source (TDS) & Goods & Service tax (GST).
• Perform Indian accounting on daily live basis in Tally Prime.
• Managing TDS applicability, payment & quarterly returns.
• Managing different payments & returns as per GST guidelines.
• Initiate vendor payments, TDS payments & other miscellaneous expenses.
• Perform regular reconciliations of financial data & prepare accurate MIS reports to support management decision-making and financial oversight.
• Maintain petty cash and its reconciliation daily
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
• Prepare Bank reconciliation system in Tally prime on daily basis.
• Provide support for audits and assist in developing internal controls.
• Regular visit GST & Income Tax office for compliance matters as per need.

Desired Profile:

• B.Com / M.Com / BBA + CA (Inter) with 3 to 5 years experience with any manufacturing & service providing industry.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) Inter / Final or Cost Accountant (CMA) qualification will be an added advantage.
• Candidate from Pharma CDMO would be preferred.
• Well versed with TDS applicability, payment & quarterly returns.
• Well versed with GST law its applicability, payment & returns.
• Be available for visits to the GST/Income Tax office as required for compliance matters.
• Prior experience in Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Must perform Indian accounting on daily live basis in Tally Prime
• Demonstrated ability to calculate figures & amounts such as discounts, interest, & percentages.
• Advanced Excel skills are preferable.
