Job Description: As a part of this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of processes under R2R, P2P, O2C, and Compliance. Your main duties will include ensuring accurate and timely accounting, period close, financial reporting, and maintaining balance sheet integrity. It is crucial to leverage your strong accounting expertise, analytical skills, and collaborate closely with operations, business, and finance teams. Additionally, you will oversee managing complex partner reconciliations, timely vendor invoice processing, and ensuring adherence to internal policies, contracts, and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including a thorough review of journal entries. - Conduct and review balance sheet reconciliations while upholding strong internal control compliance. - Analyze P&L and balance sheet variances to provide valuable business insights and commentary. - Ensure strict adherence to GAAP/Ind AS/IFRS, as applicable. - Collaborate with internal and statutory auditors, providing necessary documentation. - Monitor and enhance R2R processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Provide support for fixed assets accounting and partner reconciliations. - Verify invoice accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper approvals. - Uphold strong internal controls to maintain audit readiness. - Assist in automation initiatives and process improvements within P2P and R2R. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant with 3-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in fast-paced industries like e-commerce or fintech. - Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically Tally. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. - Ability to work effectively under strict timelines during close cycles.
