Accounting Manager

Role Overview: As the Accounting & Control Manager for India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka at Tetra Pak, your role will involve managing the financial aspects for these South Asian markets. Reporting directly to the Finance Hub Director, India, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reports and processes in the region. Key Responsibilities: - Meet monthly and quarterly closing deadlines with high-quality reports - Collaborate with global finance teams on group reporting queries - Monitor and control the Trail Balance of South Asia Markets - Prepare and review key month-end reconciliation statements for control purposes - Review and authorize journal vouchers - Prepare statutory financial accounts and oversee statutory and internal audits - Manage fixed assets tagging and verification processes - Implement accounting controls and drive simplification and standardization in day-to-day work - Act as a Local Process driver for Accounting Process and achieve high performance in all key finance process indicators - Implement continuous improvements and deliver enhancements using PSM methodologies Qualifications Required: - Qualified CA - Fluency in English - 5-7 years of relevant experience - Knowledge of IFRS and Indian GAAP - Strong personal drive with the ability to drive results - Problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach - Managerial experience to lead a team of 2-3 subordinates Additional Details: Tetra Pak offers a variety of exciting challenges with ample opportunities for development and training in a global landscape.
