About the Role

Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Close:

  Manage and oversee the entire month, Quarter and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• General Ledger & Operations:

  Supervise the daily operations of the accounting department, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, state wise payroll processing, etc.

• Audit Coordination:

  Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, Internal Auditors, coordinating the preparation of all required schedules and documentation to ensure a smooth annual audit.

• Systems & Process Improvement:

  Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and improve financial systems through the effective use of technology and financial software.

• Taxation:

  Supervise all Taxation Matters (Direct and Indirect Tax) and ensure the zero non-compliance in day-to-day operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Semi Qualified personnel (Inter CA / CMA) would be given preference.

• Experience:

  At least 8 + years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Technical Proficiency:

  knowledge of Accounting Standards (Indian GAAP or Ind AS), any reputed ERP and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) etc.
