Accounting & FP&A Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Analyst to join our Accounting and FP&A team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting support, and payroll or tax workings. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and a willingness to learn accounting processes across international clients.

Qualifications:

• B.Com (Mandatory)
• 12 years of experience in accounting and reporting (Mandatory)
• Experience in client-based or multi-entity accounting environment (Preferable)

Technical Skills (Mandatory):

• Working knowledge of ZOHO Books, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, or Sage
• Strong understanding of accounting entries and reconciliation processes
• Basic knowledge of payroll working and sales tax computation

Additional Skills (Preferable):

• Exposure to US, UK or international accounting practices
• Experience in preparation of MIS
• and management summaries
• Familiarity with Excel-based financial analysis

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for assigned clients, including data entry, posting, and reconciliations
• Prepare payroll workings, sales tax workings, and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support the preparation of financial statements, schedules, and audit deliverables
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
• Assist senior team members in budgeting, cost tracking, and MIS preparation
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation in line with best practices

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with strong accounting fundamentals
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or FP&A
• Proficient in at least one major accounting software (ZOHO / QBO / Xero / Sage)
• Eager to learn international accounting practices and client management
• Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
• Based in Baner, Pune (Work from Office)
