Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial management principles.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities:
• - Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• - Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations, including filing returns and paying taxes on time.
• - Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• - Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
• - Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• - Collaborate with auditors and other stakeholders during audits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft is essential.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
