About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with at least 5 years of professional experience in handling day-to-day accounting operations, statutory filings, and financial compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and practical expertise in managing TDS, GST, returns filing, and ledger accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash.
• Handle TDS filing, GST compliance, and periodic returns filing within statutory timelines.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Manage petty cash disbursement and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
• Assist in preparation of MIS reports, financial statements, and audit schedules.
• Ensure timely vendor and employee reimbursements.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and relevant authorities for compliance requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation for invoices, vouchers, and statutory filings.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with exposure to Indian taxation laws.
• Hands-on experience with TDS, GST, and Returns filing.
• Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting principles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
