Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, prepare profit & loss statements, and handle all import-export documentation. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent knowledge of P&L statements, and hands-on experience in managing international trade paperwork and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day financial records and ensure accuracy of all accounting transactions.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheets.

Reconcile bank statements, vendor payments, and customer accounts.

Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.

Handle import and export documentation including Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoices, COO, etc.

Coordinate with CHA (Customs House Agents), freight forwarders, and logistics teams for smooth import/export operations.

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs laws.

Maintain up-to-date records of exports and imports for audit and compliance purposes.

Assist in internal and external audits.

Support senior management with periodic financial reports and analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.

Proven 2–5 years of experience in accounting and import-export documentation.

Strong understanding of accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).

Good knowledge of P&L statements, taxation, and compliance.

Hands-on experience with DGFT, ICEGATE, AD Code, shipping line coordination, etc.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.
