Accountant

SRM Chips is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for 1 manufacturing unit and 7 company-owned retail outlets. The role involves handling inventory, production accounting, daily sales reporting, banking, vendor management, and preparing accurate profit & loss statements.

This position requires strong financial control, discipline, and hands-on operational accounting experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Unit Accounting

• Maintain daily production, inventory, and stock registers
• Track raw material consumption, finished goods, and wastage
• Monitor factory stock movement and reconcile physical vs system stock

Retail Outlets (7 Shops) – Sales & Stock

• Collect and verify daily sales reports from all outlets
• Track cash, UPI, card, and bank deposits shop-wise
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales summaries

Purchase, Expense & Vendor Management

• Record all purchase entries (raw materials, packaging, expenses)
• Maintain vendor ledgers and payment schedules
• Handle monthly vendor reconciliation and payments
• Monitor outstanding payables and credit periods

Banking & Cash Flow

• Manage all company bank accounts and transactions
• Track daily inflows and outflows

Financial Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Generate shop-wise and overall Profit & Loss statements
• Submit monthly consolidated P&L to management
• Support CA for GST, income tax, and audit requirements

Control & Compliance

• Identify cash leakage, stock mismatch, and financial risks
• Ensure strict accounting discipline and SOP compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing + retail accounting
• Strong knowledge of inventory & cost accounting
• Proficiency in Tally, Excel, Google Sheet and accounting softwares systems
• Experience handling multiple outlets or branches
• High accuracy, integrity, and control mindset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
