Job Description

Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and providing insights for financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision making.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, pivot table v look up QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations in India.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
