Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in accounts, and support compliance with statutory requirements. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and assisting in audits and taxation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts (ledger, cash book, bank book)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
• Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Prepare and file tax returns on time
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Monitor expenses and budgets
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Support management with financial analysis and reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Proven experience as an Accountant (1–5 years preferred)
• Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA ( Finance)
• Experience in auditing or compliance
• Knowledge of payroll processing
