Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for delivering accounting, tax, and compliance services for Australian clients in alignment with ATO and Australian Accounting Standards. As an Accountant, your role will involve preparing various financial statements, liaising with the Australian CPA team, and ensuring adherence to taxation laws and reporting deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare Individual, Company, Trust, and Partnership tax returns. - Compile BAS, IAS, and FBT statements following ATO requirements. - Complete year-end financial statements and work papers according to Australian standards. - Manage accounting software like Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or HandiSoft. - Coordinate with the Australian CPA team to ensure timely delivery of client work. - Adhere to Australian taxation laws, reporting deadlines, and documentation standards. - Maintain audit-ready work files and relevant supporting documentation. - Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members for clarifications and updates. Qualifications: - CA (Inter), CPA (Part-qualified), CMA (Inter), or equivalent qualification (not actively pursuing). Additional Company Details: You will be joining an offshore team supporting a reputed Australian CPA firm. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a KPO or outsourcing environment, specifically handling Australian accounts.
