Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our accounting operations and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and company law matters, with the ability to interact with clients and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and finalize accounts.
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
• Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return, etc.).
• Handle ROC (Registrar of Companies) compliances, including filing of forms, drafting resolutions, and maintaining minutes as per the Companies Act.
• Assist in preparation of audit reports and financial statements.
• Coordinate with clients for data collection, query resolution, and compliance updates.
• Handle various registrations with government departments (GST, PAN, TAN, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Practical experience in Accounting, Taxation & ROC compliance preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting software (Tally).
• Good knowledge of MS Excel & Word.
• Strong understanding of Income Tax, GST, and Companies Act provisions.
• Good drafting and communication skills for resolutions, notices, and client interaction.
• Ability to manage deadlines.
