Accountant

We're a higher education college in Sector-62 Noida seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Fee collection from students through various modes of payment and receipt generation through software.

-Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, including receiving and processing payments.

- Accounting: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

- Student service: Provide excellent service to students and parents, respond to queries, and resolve issues.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including daily/weekly cash position and other reports as required.

- Reconciliation: Reconcile cash and bank statements, and investigate discrepancies.

*Requirements:*

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cash handling and accounting.

- Skills:

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime) and Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Honest and trustworthy.
