Job Description

Company Description Buffindia is a pioneering initiative focused on cigarette waste management in India. Our mission is to collect and recycle over 100 billion cigarette butts that are littered into our environment each year. Through our end-to-end solution, we implement processes for segregation at the source, provide tech-enabled education and awareness, and engage in eco-friendly recycling to create upcycled outdoor utility products. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Buffindia located in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial activities including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budgeting and financial forecasting. Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience in bookkeeping and financial statement preparation Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus
