Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager US Accounting to lead and oversee our accounting operations specific to the US market. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in SAGE Intacct, demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. This role will involve managing a team of 7–10+ accounting professionals, ensuring compliance, and delivering timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations aligned with US GAAP standards.

Lead a team of 7–10+ accounting professionals, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and development.

Manage and review financial reporting processes, reconciliations, AP/AR, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closures.

Utilize SAGE Intacct for accounting management, reporting, and analysis.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations in the US.

Work closely with cross-functional teams and US-based clients to ensure smooth financial operations.

Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

Monitor team performance and provide training, support, and regular performance evaluations.

Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Manage workload under tight deadlines and changing priorities without compromising quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA is must.

5-7+ years of experience in US accounting, with at least 3 years in a team management role.

Strong understanding of US GAAP and compliance requirements.

Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Proven experience working on SAGE Intacct is a plus.
