Account Manager

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)

• Prepare and finalize financial statements in compliance with ICAIs Guidance Note, applicable Accounting Standards, and other statutory requirement.
• Ensure timely preparation of MIS reports, monthly sales summaries, cash flow statements, and variance analysis for effective financial planning and decision-making.
• Lead statutory audits, liaise with external auditors for audit closure, and ensure adherence to all audit and compliance requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and maintain robust internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation of financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
• Ensure timely compliance with all statutory obligations, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax; liaise with consultants and regulatory authorities as required.
• Coordinate with banks for managing cash credit/loan facilities and liaise with regulatory authorities (GST, IT, PF, ESI, Labour) for smooth operations.
• Support in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and working capital management to ensure optimal utilization of financial resources.
• Monitor working capital, expenses, and implement cost control measures to ensure organizational financial health.
• Analyse financial performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, and regular bank reconciliations.
• Work closely with sales, CRM, and customer accounts teams to ensure accurate recording of collections, advances, and adjustments.
• Ensure revenue recognition practices are aligned with applicable accounting standards and project progress milestones.
• Address financial queries from external stakeholders, consultants, and regulatory authorities with professionalism and clarity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—legal, project, sales, procurement, and admin—to ensure alignment of financial goals and processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior finance staff to strengthen the team’s capabilities and overall performance.
• Represent the finance function in key internal meetings and cross-departmental reviews with confidence and clarity.
• Ensure RERA Compliance: in day-to day accounts
• Reconciliation of TDS/TCS as per Form 26AS with the company’s books of accounts on regular basis.
