Job Description

Job Summary:

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial

records for international operations of the diamond business. The role involves handling

cross-border transactions, foreign currency accounting, export/import documentation, and

compliance with both Indian and International accounting standards relevant to the

diamond trade.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting and Book-Keeping

• Maintain books of accounts for international transactions in compliance with

AS

• Record daily sales, purchase, consignment and memo transactions related to

diamonds trade

• Handle inter-company and branch accounting

• Ensure accurate posting of entries involving foreign currencies and exchange

rate fluctuations

• Reconcile ledgers, Bank Statements and supplier/customer accounts

2. International Transactions & Banking

• Manage foreign currency transactions and track forex gains/losses

• Coordinate with banks for inward/outward remittances, Letter of Credit (LC)

and Bank Realisation Certificate (BRC)

• Handle documentation for export/import of diamonds and related RBI/FEMA

compliance

• Prepare and monitor outstanding receivables/payables with international

clients and suppliers

3. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to FEMA, RBI, DGFT and customs regulations for

international trade

• Prepare documentation for export invoices, shipping bills, packing lists and

related customs forms

• Maintain proper record-keeping for transfer pricing documentation, inter-

company agreements and related compliances

4. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare MIS reports on foreign sales, purchases and outstanding

receivables/payables

• Assist management with profitability analysis by region, customer or

shipment

• Generate reports on forex exposure, bank utilization and fund flow for

management review

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with overseas offices, customers and vendors for reconciliations

and document sharing

• Communicate with logistics partners, customs, agents and banks for

transaction execution

• Work with internal department to ensure smooth financial flow.

Preferred Qualifications:

CA/CS/CMA Inter

Good with MS Office

Good communication skills
