Role Overview:

The Manager Accounts is responsible for overseeing the complete financial management and accounting operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making. The role involves managing budgets, audits, cost control, and the overall financial health of Appletree Building Maintenance Pvt. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Reporting

  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Track project-wise cost allocation for BMU manufacturing and faade access systems.
  • Implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement strategies.
  • Support management in pricing and tender financial evaluation for projects.

3. Statutory Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax.
  • Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Maintain proper documentation for tax assessments and government filings.

4. Cash Flow & Fund Management

  • Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
  • Manage banking relationships for credit facilities, LC, and other financial instruments.
  • Oversee vendor payments and ensure adherence to payment terms.

5. ERP & Systems Management

  • Manage accounting software/ERP implementation and maintenance.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency of accounting systems and financial data management.

6. Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise and mentor accounting team members.
  • Ensure skill development, adherence to deadlines, and accuracy in deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:

    Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) / M.Com / MBA (Finance).
  • Experience:

    Minimum 5

    –7 years

    of experience in manufacturing or engineering industry,

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IND-AS/IFRS).
    • Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / similar accounting software.
    • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
    • Understanding of project-based accounting and cost control.

  • Banking & Finance work is compulsory
