Account Executive

As an Account Executive at our company based in Indore, you will be reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer. Your role as an Account Executive will involve overseeing general accounting operations, verifying financial transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate for this position should have extensive experience in managing various accounting activities such as bank reconciliations, tax audits, and financial reporting. Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail are essential to guarantee accurate, compliant, and up-to-date financial data. Your responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, managing and reconciling general ledger accounts, executing month-end and year-end closing activities, and preparing tax filings to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing fixed assets, depreciation, and capital project accounting, supporting external and internal audits, monitoring financial transactions, and accounting operations to ensure adherence to company policies. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus) along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role. A strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle), advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a high attention to detail are required. Experience with financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit support is also crucial. Preferred qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, strong knowledge of ERP systems, and financial reporting software.
