Job Description

Accounting Entries & Transactions

Record and maintain Sales entries in the accounting system.
Process payment and receipt entries accurately and on time.
Handle cash transactions and maintain daily cash records.
Manage bank payments and ensure timely vendor settlements.

Reconciliation & Reporting

Conduct bank reconciliation monthly to ensure accuracy of financial data.
Perform stock tallying on a monthly basis.
Tally petty cash daily and ensure proper documentation.
Reconcile sundry creditors and debtors ledgers periodically.

Statutory Compliance

Calculate and file GST returns monthly.
Handle TDS payments and quarterly TDS return filing.
Manage ESI calculation and payment on a monthly basis.
Compute and process Professional Tax calculations and payments.

Administrative & Coordination

Maintain office files and accounting documentation systematically.
Coordinate with the company’s auditors for income tax filing and related documentation.

Requirements:

2 years of experience in accounting and compliance.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
