Account Executive

As an Account Executive for our organization, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage operations, focusing specifically on hotel accounting and financial management. Your role will involve creating and maintaining efficient operational systems to meet the business requirements. You should be adept at multitasking and collaborating with various business units to ensure smooth operations. In terms of hotel accounting and financial oversight, you will be required to manage and reconcile daily revenue and expenses, conduct night audits for accurate financial reporting, prepare financial summaries and reports for management review, monitor budgets, and implement cost-control measures. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be crucial in this aspect. Operational management will also fall under your purview, where you will supervise and ensure the seamless functioning of operations across different departments. It will be important for you to address and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency. Your role will also involve reporting and communication, requiring you to liaise with senior management to present status reports and effectively communicate with all departments to tackle any operational challenges that may arise. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification such as CA or CPA would be advantageous. A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting is required, along with a strong understanding of accounting principles and hotel management systems. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel is essential, along with excellent organizational and problems-solving skills. Preferred skills for this role include experience in handling audits and compliance in the hospitality industry, as well as the ability to work independently during night shifts and make sound decisions under pressure.
