Description
Role Overview: As an Internet and Mass-Scale Infrastructure (I&MI) Account Executive at Cisco, your main responsibility will be to develop strong working relationships with Sales Leaders, Account Managers, and Engineers to ensure alignment of sales strategies for I&MI technology and overall Cisco business within customers" environments. You will also need to engage resources, including the I&MI business units, marketing, and Cisco partners to drive the overall growth of the technology within your assigned territory. Key Responsibilities: - Drive optics, service provider routing, optical, and automation sales to customers building large-scale Artificial Intelligence (AI) networks and AI Infrastructure - Develop strong relationships with key customers, including at the executive level, to understand customer business drivers and influence their tactical and strategic plans - Lead new and emerging customers through major architecture transitions to support AI service offerings - Work closely with the Cisco team members and partners to capture and accelerate new franchises - Build a complete business plan to drive the business and exceed your goals - Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Cisco optics, optical, and routing offers, as well as competitors" solutions in these areas - Have an understanding of the growing data center environment including Ethernet and Infiniband - Develop new sales strategies, hunt new accounts, and establish strong new relationships - Utilize opportunity discovery, forecasting, presentation skills, and short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management skills - Possess strong spoken and verbal communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and opportunities Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of sales experience in a fast-paced, high-technology environment - Understanding and experience with optics and optical networking is required - Understanding and experience with routing technologies is required - Understanding of switching, front-end and back-end AI networking is required - Understanding and experience with automation and assurance solutions is a plus - Business planning skills - An autonomous work ethic - An innate ability to work effectively in a large, matrixed organization - BA/BS degree or equivalent experience Additional Company Details: Cisco is focused on integrating AI into solutions to transform collaboration, security, networking, observability, and more.
