Job Description

Proficiency in Tally and other accounting software Filing and Records Keeping. Utilize Tally software to accurately record and maintain financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports. Assist with accounts payable processes, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and reconciling vendor statements. Support accounts receivable functions by preparing invoices, posting customer payments, and following up on overdue accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and banking practices that may impact the organization. Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including filing documents, responding to inquiries, and assisting with special projects as needed. Any other task as may be required as per the situation.
