Role Overview :

The Academic Counsellor guides learners, understands their career goals, recommends the right programs, and helps them through the admission process. This is a revenue-driving, counselling-focused role based in physical learning centres.

Key Responsibilities :

Counsel potential learners via calls, centre visits, and video sessions.
Understand learner needs and recommend suitable upGrad programs.
Convert leads to admissions and achieve monthly enrolment targets.
Manage the full sales cycle — enquiry to enrolment and post-sales support.
Maintain CRM records and track performance metrics.
Coordinate with centre teams to ensure smooth learner experience.

Requirements :

Graduate with
1-2 years
of B2C or consultative sales experience (EdTech preferred).
Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work with targets and handle multiple tasks.
Basic MS Office + CRM proficiency.
