Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counsellor based in Pune. The Academic Counsellor will engage directly with students and parents to provide guidance and support for academic and career paths. Responsibilities include conducting student counseling sessions, advising on courses, and helping with academic planning. The role also involves assisting in matching student needs with suitable educational programs and providing information about relevant processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students effectively in their educational journey and career decisions
Strong Communication skills to interact with students, parents, and other stakeholders in a professional and empathetic manner
Experience in Academic Advising and Education to support students in academic planning and selecting appropriate programs
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently to achieve counseling goals
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related fields is preferred
Relevant certifications or training in counseling or academic advising are an advantage
