Nirman Academy is a leading institution in Kerala specializing in Interior Design and Architectural Design education. With branches in Manjeri, Kochi, and Calicut, we aim to empower students with industry-oriented knowledge, practical exposure, creativity, and strong professional skills.

We are urgently seeking an Academic Coordinator for our Calicut branch who can lead and shape the academic, teaching, and creative direction of the Academy. This role requires a passionate and experienced professional from the field of Architecture or Interior Design who can mentor students, guide faculty, and ensure academic and creative excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate all academic activities of the Calicut branch.
• Design and monitor class schedules, timetables, and faculty allocations.
• Ensure high-quality teaching standards and creative learning experiences.
• Regularly evaluate and upgrade the curriculum in line with industry needs.
• Conduct academic review meetings and ensure timely reporting to the Head Office.

Creative & Student Development

• Lead creative workshops, design projects, and academic events.
• Inspire students through mentorship, guidance, and portfolio development.
• Ensure effective student engagement in clubs, design challenges, and competitions.
• Monitor student progress, attendance, and performance with timely interventions.

Faculty Management

• Guide and supervise teaching faculty (full-time and part-time).
• Organize faculty meetings, training sessions, and ensure effective academic delivery.
• Motivate faculty members to bring innovation and creativity into their teaching.

Industry & Growth Focus

• Integrate industry trends, technologies, and real-world practices into the academic framework.
• Support placement activities by preparing students for internships and careers.
• Collaborate with industry experts for guest lectures, talks, and exposure programs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design (mandatory).
• Minimum 3–5 years of academic/industry experience in teaching, coordination, or leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, construction basics, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Passionate about teaching, mentoring, and guiding the next generation of designers.
• Creative mindset with the ability to conduct workshops, seminars, and academic activities.
