Job Description – Part-Time Academic Coordinator
Organization: Take One School of Mass Communication Location: South Delhi Position: Part-Time Academic Coordinator About the Role The Part-Time Academic Coordinator will act as a bridge between students, faculty, and the management team to ensure the smooth functioning of academic activities. The role requires excellent organizational, communication, and people-management skills to coordinate classes, workshops, guest lectures, and examinations effectively. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and share class schedules, timetables, and academic calendars. • Coordinate with faculty members and guest lecturers to ensure smooth delivery of lectures. • Assist in planning academic events, workshops, and seminars. • Serve as the first point of contact for student queries related to academics. • Monitor student attendance and maintain academic records. • Support students during orientation, examinations, and project submissions. • Communicate academic requirements, guidelines, and schedules to faculty. • Share progress updates and feedback with the management team. • Coordinate evaluation processes with faculty members. • Maintain proper documentation of courses, attendance, and results. • Assist in organizing academic drives, internship coordination, and university liaison (where applicable). Requirements • Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or related field. • Prior experience in academic administration, coordination, or student support (preferred). • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Excellent communication (English & Hindi) and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace. Work Schedule & Compensation Part-Time: Approx. 4–5 hours daily / 5–6 days a week (flexible timing, based on class schedules). Compensation: Competitive part-time remuneration (to be discussed during interview). Why Join Us?
