We are looking for a highly skilledSenior Backend Engineerto join our team and help buildscalable, low-latency, real-time systemsat the heart of a global marketplace. This role requires deep expertise in Java and microservices architecture, with a strong focus on system performance, availability, and distributed computing.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and scalemicroserviceswithlow-latencyandhigh-throughputto power real-time hotel search, pricing, availability, and distribution.
• Implement complexalgorithmsanddata modelsfor inventory and pricing workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to ownend-to-end developmentfrom design to deployment.
• LeverageLLM tools(e.g., Claude, Cursor) and frameworks likeLangChainto enhance development velocity using RAG, prompts, and agents.
• Conductrigorous code reviewsand contribute to an automated,CI/CD pipelineto support frequent and reliable deployments.
• Monitor and optimize systems usingPrometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatchto ensure sub-50ms response times.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience withJava,Spring Boot, andHibernate.
• Strong expertise inMySQL,MongoDB, orScyllaDB.
• Proven experience buildingdistributed,event-driven systemsusingSQS,Kinesis, or similar technologies.
• Understanding ofdata consistency models,fault tolerance,backpressure, andcircuit breakers.
• Experience designinglow-latency APIsand working in high-performance environments.
• Familiarity with observability tools likeGrafana,Prometheus, andCloudWatch.
• Comfortable working in aremote-first, asynchronous team environment with strong documentation practices.
• Passionate aboutclean code,automation, and drivingengineering excellence.

Nice to Have:

• Experience withLLM pipelinesoragentic workflows.
• Exposure toDatabricks,Spark, or data-heavy architectures.
• Familiarity withReactor full-stack engineering.
• Background or interest inAI/ML applications.
