Role Description

The Senior Manager - Enterprise SaaS Sales will take on a strategic role focused on driving SaaS business growth in the enterprise segment. Responsibilities include managing the sales team, developing sales strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The role entails conducting market research, identifying potential clients, building and maintaining client relationships, and training sales staff to perform at high standards. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune.

Senior Manager, Enterprise SaaS Sales

We're looking for an experienced and driven Senior Manager, Enterprise SaaS Sales to join our team. In this role, you'll be crucial in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth by selling innovative SaaS solutions to large, distribution-led businesses, particularly within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector and other industries with extensive distribution networks.

You'll leverage your deep understanding of these complex organizations and your established relationships to close significant deals and expand our market footprint.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to identify, engage, and close new enterprise clients > within the BFSI sector and other distribution-led industries.
  • Pipeline Generation: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at target accounts, including C-suite executives.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand client challenges and effectively articulate the value proposition of our SaaS solutions, tailoring presentations and proposals to specific client requirements.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close, including contract negotiation and ensuring a smooth handover to the customer success team.
  • Market Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the BFSI and distribution sectors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction and contribute to product development based on market feedback and maintain detailed records of sales activities in our CRM system.
  • Achieve & Exceed Targets: Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, specifically selling technology solutions to distribution-led businesses like BFSI.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and exceeding aggressive sales targets.
  • Strong existing network and proven relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within large enterprise accounts across various industries.
  • Deep understanding of complex sales cycles and ability to navigate multiple stakeholders within large organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs and align them with product capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree is required.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is highly preferred.
