As a 3D Modeler for automotive design projects, your main responsibilities will include: - Creating high-quality 3D models using NURBS and polygon modeling techniques in software such as Alias, Blender, and Sub D. - Collaborating with design, engineering, and visualization teams to develop detailed and accurate digital models. - Interpreting and translating 2D sketches, CAD data, and design concepts into 3D models. - Ensuring that the models meet technical and aesthetic requirements, maintaining the highest standards of quality. - Participating in design reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve design processes. - Optimizing models for various applications, including visualization and manufacturing. - Staying updated with the latest industry trends and software advancements in digital modeling. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Computer Graphics, or a related field. - Proven experience in NURBS and polygon modeling using software like Alias, ICEM, Sub D, and Blender. - Strong understanding of surface modeling, topology, and geometry optimization. - Skills in Grasshopper, Vred, and Unreal will be considered an added advantage. - Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. - Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts effectively. - A portfolio showcasing relevant 3D modeling work.,
