Skill Requirements: Good level of understanding of automotive exteriors (panels, plastic & child parts) and interiors (IP, door trims & child parts) design. Sensitive towards creative design intent and experience in sketch to 3D, Scan to Surface and Class A Understanding of engineering constraints and ability to decipher technical packages. Proficiency in Autodesk Alias. skills in Sub D and Blender would be beneficial. Knowledge of Visualization softwares like Vred, Unreal would-be added advantage Experience in automotive digital modelling from concept to Class A. Strong communication and cooperation skills. Job Responsibilities: Ability to handle team of 5 digital designers and co-ordinate between team, customer and cross functional teams. Conversion of sketches/2D and 3D mesh/ scan input data into surface models using Autodesk Alias software. CLASS A deliveries maintaining high quality output within crunched timelines without losing focus on styling intent. Ability to incorporate fast changes respecting engineering packages and execute tasks to achieve project milestones. Ability to collate data, manage time and set work and communication models with cross functional teams at different locations.

Bachelor's or master's program from a reputed design or other creative / material research discipline or related streams. With a minimum professional experience of 2 years or more in handling CMF Design Responsibilities. Excellent level / Mastery on CMF Design & Visualization tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Substance, VRED). Workload Management Experience with strong skills in Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel) + Design Presentation Techniques. Professional experience of Production Design, DFQ, DFM, DPQ Processes. Knowledge of industrial environment and associated technical and economic issues. Flexibility, ability to work on multiple projects with varied workscope. Experience of ensuring design deliverables meet required quality standards. Good Interpersonal and Communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills in written, visual and verbal forms. Drive and Passion for sustainable future / mobility ecosystem and related solutions. Exceptional level of Fresh Ideation, storyboarding and presentation skills. A portfolio demonstrating CMF Design / Material Research work is essential to apply for this position. Role & Responsibility: Colour, material, and finish (CMF) design proposals focused on New Mobility Needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand design requirements and develop CMF Proposals and Strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Collaborate with Mobility Design Team to analyse the customer specifications, the cultural context and the innovative CMF Direction (Colour story, Materials, Perceived Quality, Graphics & Livery) to ensure the projects and tenders have the inspiring relevance to the Market and the Region. Research on Cultural, Technological and Geo-Political Trends that have an influence on CMF Design workscope. CMF Visualization Hands on engagement in VRED Renderings / Postproduction / Presentations. Deliver CMF Design directions that are compliant to applicable technical, contractual, legal and standards requirements as per the Market and Region. Participate in Design Committees Reviews with Head of Design, Creative Design Team, Digital Design Team, Visualization Team during Design Presentations. Manage material development with global suppliers from Design to production stage. Lead research assignments on emerging trends in CMF in Mobility design and provide insights for sustainable / eco material development. Engage in creating CMF design presentations, material boards and mock-ups with internal and external colleagues. Timely delivery of A&CD deliverables to achieve Design Reviews / Project milestones. Ensure the consistency of the data deliveries for Internal & External Schedules Improve relations and information exchanges with related projects teams. Promote the Importance of A&CD Design Vertical to all stakeholders inside and outside of the organization. Be able to organize and plan workload according to Tenders and Projects in progress. Manage workhours and timelines in accordance with the project budget. Ensuring the archival of completed projects and managing ongoing project / resource files on secured Database. Collaborate with the team to develop design proposals and ensure timely and efficient delivery. Stay up-to-date and introduce newer AI tools and integration techniques and keep innovating design approaches and methods. Fluent English communication is essential for the Role. Conceptualization and Design: - conceptualizing and developing new product designs or improving existing designs. - Work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and specifications 2 Research and Analysis: - Design engineers conduct research and analysis to gather relevant information, such as industry standards, materials, manufacturing processes, and cost considerations. They use this knowledge to make informed design decisions and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. 3 Safety and Compliance: -Ensure that Designs adhere to industry standards, regulations, and certifications applicable to the product or system.- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.- Maintain 5s , Kaizen and Safety at working place 4 Documentation and Reporting: -Responsible for creating and maintaining detailed documentation related to automotive components and systems, including 2D/3D CAD drawings, design specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and engineering change orders (ECOs) in accordance with automotive standards and OEM requirements. 5 Troubleshooting and Problem-solving :- Identifying and resolving design-related issues in automotive components or assemblies, such as fitment problems, tolerance stack-ups, or interference in CAD models. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, and testing) to address issues found during prototyping, validation, or production stages. Applying root cause analysis (RCA), DFMEA, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure design integrity and minimize delays in development or production. - Troubleshooting problems promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. 6 Prototyping and testing: -To develop prototypes of the designed tools and conduct tests to evaluate their performance, functionality, and safety. -Analyze test results, make necessary adjustments to the design, and iterate until the desired performance is achieved. 7 Team Management:- Build a professional and hardworking team of worker to deliver best product and nurture a good employee base for the organisation.- Ensure continous improvement within department.- Identify training needs for Development department.- Attend daily development meetings 8 Organisational compliance:- Follow all rules and regulation in the organisation.- Support team in all activities.
