Job description: AutoCAD Draftsman We’re seeking a skilled CAD draughtsman to join our team at Fiama Techno. As a CAD draughtsman, you will prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects. You will work closely with engineers to ensure that all specifications and designs adhere to industry standards. Objectives of the role Developing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, designs, and models for various plant Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate drafts. Modifying existing drawings and plans as needed to accommodate changes in design or scope. Ensuring designs and drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements. Conducting quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness. Participating in project meetings to discuss design and drafting issues. Assisting in resolving design and technical issues during project development. Your tasks Create precise engineering drawings using Auto CAD software. Prepare layouts, detailed drawings, and assembly diagrams for construction. Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes or modifications requested by the Client. Ensure all designs are documented and meet the required standards and codes. Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications. Assist in preparing documentation and reports related to project designs and materials. Prepare bills of materials and cost estimates based on drawings. Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and ensure design accuracy. Coordinate with project managers and team to ensure timely completion of drafts. Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAD technology and design trends. Required skills and qualifications Diploma or degree in Engineering and Good Drafting Knowledge in Plant Engineering. 5+ years of experience as a CAD Draughtsman. Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools. Solid technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Good understanding of engineering design and drawing, construction, and drafting principles. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Knowledge of IS & ASTM codes, construction standards, and engineering principles. Preferred skills and qualifications Drafting experience in Steel industries. Experience in Steel Plant Project management.

Job Title: Piping Design Engineer Location: 3rd Floor, Nandi Bhaban, Kamrabad, Sonarpur, Kolkata – 700150 (Project/Coordination with Bhubaneswar – Kalinga Nagar Region) Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Experience: Minimum 3 years in Piping Design Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Piping Design Engineer with a strong background in piping layout, isometric drawings, and 3D modeling for industrial or process plants. The candidate will be responsible for designing efficient piping systems, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review piping layouts, GA drawings, and isometrics using AutoCAD/ Plant 3D. Conduct pipe routing and support design based on process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to ensure design compatibility. Perform material take-off (MTO) and maintain BOQ documentation. Ensure designs comply with relevant standards such as ASME, ASTM, ANSI, API, and client specifications. Review and incorporate field and client feedback during design and execution phases. Support fabrication and erection teams with necessary design clarifications.
