3D Modeler – Fresher (Diploma / ITI – Electrical or Mechanical)

We are hiring fresh Diploma or ITI graduates in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering for the position of 3D Modeler. This is a full-time, office-based position in Surat, where you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of 3D models, 2D layouts, and technical drawings related to substations, switchyards, solar power plants, and industrial projects.

The role includes occasional visits to project sites across India for layout verification, measurements, and drawing clarifications when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and modifying 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for substation and industrial layouts
  
• Prepare and update general arrangement (GA) drawings, equipment layouts, cable trenching, and panel drawings
  
• Support engineers in compiling as-built drawings, BOMs, and layout revisions
  
• Participate in internal software training sessions for AutoCAD and Revit
  
• Occasionally visit project sites for:
  
• Layout verification
  
• On-site measurements
  
• Drawing clarifications
  

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D / 3D
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts
  
• Eagerness to learn substation/switchyard design principles
  
• Good communication and coordination skills
  
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites as required
  
• Team player with attention to detail and accuracy
  

• Exposure to Revit, SolidWorks, or BIM software
  
• Basic understanding of electrical panels, transformers, cable routing
  
• Internship or academic project experience related to electrical/mechanical drafting
  

Qualifications:

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  
• Freshers (0–1 year experience) are eligible to apply
  
• Must be willing to learn and grow in the field of technical design and CAD modeling
